This is incredible! Would it be possible to make it so the doors to the boss rooms unlock immediately after the boss dies, instead of after grabbing the Heart Container? I adore the original, and my only real beef with it is that it's not possible to do a 3 heart challenge since getting the HCs is mandatory for progression.

I had the same issue, and closing & restarting the game fixed it for me
