The alien's animation was super cute, and the game is very functional! Nice menus too! I think the addition of some particle effects with the shooting could juice the feel of the game.

Good platforming design, the flexibility of the jumping when going off the ledge is good. I also like how you indicate to the user there's a platform with the snow. Nice music too.

What a neat concept, and very functional. The visuals are really nice and the battery/light mechanic is interesting.

I liked the lighting effects, a Christmas stealth game is a neat idea. I don't think the enemies reacted to me being in their line-of-sight though.

A pretty neat start to a platformer. I like the start where the game is like "you can figure out the controls right?". The wall jumping was neat, and the art is nice.

WHOA, this is awesome. I love the environments, the sound design is on point, the contextual voice acting is great, and I love the effect of looking through the camera to see the future or a horrible past. I think I ran into an undefined state after cutting the rope though, I'm unable to pick up the golden key.

Thanks a bunch for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and it was exciting to hear you talk about the game while playing it. I'll definitely aim to learn more about handling window scaling for the next project.

I'm  still a little confused as to how the game works, but the art is great! I also particularly like the FOV effect.

A neat infinite runner! DIdn't quite follow the theme, but the controls were solid and the art was fun. Also good music. The enemy trees could stick out a little more, but I liked the lighting effect you used to differentiate them.

The art is adorable and the mechanics of the game are solid. The glowing effect and the parallax background look great. The music was really fun and gave me that playful Halloween feel. However, I'm not quite sure how it'd fit into the theme of 'unmasking the truth'. I also kind of feel that the gameplay could be a little tighter, there was a feeling of disconnect when attacking. But overall, an enjoyable experience!

I agree!  A premise slide would have been good for setting the mood and context. I'm glad the story was still picked up through context of the environment and puzzles though. Thanks again for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

I agree! It crossed my mind to do like a short story slide at the beginning for the initial premise. But that was mostly after the fact when playing another game in the jam, 'The Truth is Out There', which did did a premise screen. Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D

I agree! It crossed my mind making like a little pop up list of the things needed. If I make a bigger adventure game in the future, it's something I could do. Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you liked it. :)

Has some nice atmosphere, the shader effects are a little jarring but I see what you're going for. I wish there was a sound warning though.,the jump scare thing was really loud. I really like the subtle sound queues of the monster coming though.

The pixel art is great! The characters and environment look great. The music is fun. I think the gameplay could use more variety, maybe like another attack. Overall though good job! I also like the chicken at the start of the game.

Follows the theme nicely with a unique idea. I really like the art in the game, it's adorable. Following what BIGSPRITE said, I think there could be better feel in the shooting. I also like the music! Great job!

Love the pixel art, and the concept is hilarious. I like how the party goers interact. The UI is great. Good music assets. Great job!

Pretty fun, the mechanic reminds me of VVVVVV. The gravity flipping worked great. I think the rotation of the character after the flip could be spiced up a little bit though. Tweening the rotation variable of the character is how I get those kinds of effects. Nice music and sound effects. Good job. :)

Really fun concept! I always love digging in games and finding resources.

Good luck!! I hope you find the error.

Just narrowly finished the game in time... Managing the scope of the game was tough, but I was really happy with how it turned out. I think it went well for my first game jam and first time working on a game in a team.

The first game I've made for a game jam and worked on with a team! It's called I.C.A.S.L.I.M.E. A pet simulator where you try to adjust the the environment and feed an alien in order to make it happy and grow. It has a mode for seeing the slime and using resources, and a resource gathering mode. Thanks so much for the jam, it was a lot of fun!
