This game is really neat! I'm always a sucker for some games with a spooky atmosphere and this one does great with setting up the mood right from the start. The visuals are really nice and pair nicely with the music to draw you in to the story.
Like with other players, I did however have some issues with the camera. It was pretty sensitive when trying to move it around to look at specific things that caught my interest. The information in the book is interesting, but I wish that there was either was a system to click through it instead of the words automatically scrolling or a way to reread it after the first time. There was also an issue where after reading the book, something invisible appears in front of the fireplace and is able to be climbed.
One thing I wish there was more of is interactions with Rei and her environment. She's an interesting character and I would love to get to know more of her personality, even if it's just through the occasional comment about an object you inspect. The way she idles and her overall posture is a nice touch to give her some characterization, I just want more!
In short, this was a very fun little demo and it left me really interested and wanting to play more to find out just exactly was going on. I'm really eager to see what the future will bring!
