I love new games for old consoles, this is fun. I only managed to win one fight so far (in single player) but I will keep on trying haha. Would be a fun party game! I like the sparse sound design too. Also this definitely works using Genesis Plus GX on the Wii.

What a good game, it made me laugh a lot. I really like the replay value in this one, exploration is rewarded with more jokes. Great use of music too!

This is such a great idea, I loved it. I've never seen such detailed images in a Bitsy game before either, I see that it's done with Pixsy - you put it to good use!

I came here after playing chapter 2 first. I really like this concept for a game series a lot and I'm looking forward to see where it goes. Your music is very good too, it fits the mood very well.

You made something really special here. Even when the outcome was the same I kept going back because I wanted to make sure I saw everything. I'm still not sure I have, and I know I will try to find out again. Very well done

This is an awesome game, it has a ton of personality. I love the music and the dialogue. It took me until finding the gun to realize that you could use WASD + the mouse instead of arrow keys and C, I probably shouldn't have accidentally killed the very first guy at the beginning while testing out the sword...

[minor spoilers]

I liked this a lot. At first I thought there was only the one ending (I explored the entire berry field so I found the secret before I talked to the king and the game ended kind of abruptly to me). But I knew there had to be another ending so I made it my mission to get it haha. I appreciated the jokes too! Nice game.

I really liked this demo a lot! The characters and story were great to me, I love how colorful everything is. My only complaint/suggestion is that it's a bit frustrating the robot cannot move at all while it is falling, considering how quickly you run out of gas. However I played through the game a couple of times and it appears the levels are designed so you have to plan ahead so just ignore me if that's an intended feature lol. Aside from that minor nitpick I had fun with this and it seems like you have a good blend of mechanics to expand upon in future versions

Also thank you for skipping the cutscenes on concurrent playthroughs!

I loved this, I clicked play without viewing any of the screenshots first so it defied my expectations. Big fan of the cassette art and the ending room. Great little game!

Hi! I would like to play your game but when I try to run it I'm met with an error message:

"Error Data Folder Not Found

C:/Users/Me/Desktop/Video Games/robot-gamev1.02/robot-gamev1.02

There should be 'Learn To Live_Data' folder next to the executable"

It looks like a cool game, hopefully that's an easy fix :)

I played through this about 4 times just now. I can identify with the feelings in it a lot, and it made me wonder if I perhaps subconsciously use any "organs" to make being in situations with strangers better for me. I guess I stare at nothing in particular on my phone a lot to make it look like I'm doing something. But enough about me! This is your game! And it is very well done. Each scene is well put together - I admit I had a little bit of a problem trying to figure out how to actually get on the bus my first time, but hey, getting on the bus be hard sometimes, I wouldn't change it :). I like how meditative it all is. Great choice of music too!

I do not know why I am mining, I do not know the purpose of the mysterious machine that sometimes allows me to push E and sometimes forbids me from doing so. It doesn't matter, I had a good time either way. It was satisfying to break the blocks (I liked the sound effect) and even more satisfying to gradually get more and more powerful with each time loop. I like that it says time will loop "soon" instead of giving you a set number, I feel that encourages more frantic brick breaking than if you could count down the number in your head. Cool game, also "Infinite Depths" is a name that would look very cool on an arcade marquee

I really liked the music in this. It was nice to listen to while I was looking for the Easter egg (which I eventually found!). Nice work. :)

Cute game! That last dog was a bit devious to find, I liked that one little challenge was thrown in there that forced you to explore. I really enjoyed the music and choice for the wave effect on the ocean too, after I found all the dogs I stood there for a little while just taking it in.

I only did a few single player runs, but this game actually provides a really interesting single-player experience. The randomly generated levels with their twists and turns and various levels are fun to run around and explore, but even if you play both the hider and seeker, the level layouts make it quite challenging to remember exactly where you decided to hide. I like this a lot!

Very relaxing, not very TAXING to play (sorry). I like how even the splash screen and the cosmic dust is pink. And the contrast between typically feminine products and things that tons of our tax dollars go towards but people tend not to bat an eye at. Cool game.

[This comment contains mild spoilers for the game]

I really enjoyed this game (as much as you can enjoy playing a simulation of living with anxiety lol). There are some touches in it that I'm not sure are intentional or are just part of the game engine; looking around with the mouse can feel a bit dreamlike and I had trouble clicking on two of the objects I needed to complete my task because the cursor would constantly switch between the mouse pointer and the click finger, so it took a bit of frantic clicking to get it to work. If they're intentional they're great, if they're unintentional I say leave them in because they really add to the feeling of anxiety and trying to concentrate!

The part where you try to make the negative thoughts go away and some keep coming back anyway, or moving around, that was a nice touch.

The game gets its point across very well in a short period of time, a chunk of a person's day with no ending where they conquer it all - after all, this is only the beginning of Mary's journey. As a slice of life of someone who has anxiety it's a very good portrayal and I hope it can help others understand. Very good work :)

Cute game with great music. A bit more challenging than one would expect it to be, but in a good way. Even when you mess up the game is still fun to play because of the cats' reaction. I managed to feed 75 cats (and accidentally blast one in the face with sushi). Fun!

Hello! I've just released a new game entitled Wrist Lock!!! As the topic title states, it's a mouse-based local multiplayer tug of war platform fighting game. But what does that mean?

Both players stand or sit across from one another, and have the mouse in between them. They both place a hand on their side of the mouse. The game starts, and each player tries to pull or push the mouse to get the monster to come towards their character and make them jump. Once their character bounces off the monster, they're the one who becomes mouse controlled, and they must pull or push the mouse to get their character to bounce off of their opponent to reduce their lives! A more detailed explanation is on the game page.

Keyboard and thumb stick controls are available as well.

Give it a try and I hope you have a great time!

Thank you for the review! In regards to the window size, do you mean it doesn't scale when you try to drag the window to resize/ press the maximize button? If so, it's not able to be scaled that way. Sorry if that made it difficult to play with your recording software. The only two options are either 640x480 window or to go full screen with the F key.

The camera controls are designed that way so you have to choose between measuring or moving at a given moment, but I will keep your idea for a marker that shows where the Boxy Hop-Dog went to in mind!

Again, thanks for playing. You're the first person to ever make a let's play for one of my games!

Hello! I just released my newest game, Dimensions of the Boxy Hop-Dog. You will observe the titular Boxy Hop-Dog jumping around, and use the mouse cursor to measure its various body parts (head, neck, torso, legs, and tail) and enter their values into their respective fields. You'll then be able to find out how accurate (or horribly wrong) you were. It's a short, chill, fun little game for people of all ages.

It is available on Windows and you can download it here: https://scroungin4catsup.itch.io/dimensions-of-the-boxy-hop-dog

Enjo,y and have a great day!

Hello! I've just released a small game called Authorized Likeness. Your entire screen is black and you must use your mouse's cursor to trace your reflection - but you won't know how well you did until you've pressed 'enter.' How accurate ... or how awful... will your portrait be? You'll be able to save it and show it off regardless. A funny little idea that I hope someone out there will enjoy!

It can be downloaded here: https://scroungin4catsup.itch.io/authorized-likeness

Warpdoor started posting updates again today. They are a very, very good curator of indie games as they are willing to post a wide variety of content, including small, unpolished, experimental stuff - and when they're active, they tend to post several games per day. My game Bileview reached "fresh games" on the front page of Itch because they tweeted it out. :)

There is also "Weird Fucking Games", who post more experimental and artistic games on twitter. They also do a bi-weekly e-mail newsletter that contains links and descriptions of all the games they had curated in that time. https://twitter.com/wf__games

Hello! As the title says, I've made a "golf simulator" where your computer's mouse stands in as the hole. There are 10 different "digital putting greens" to choose from, each with their own challenge - such how good you are at timing your putts, how quickly you are able to sink a putt, or how softly you can putt the ball.

Gather your friends and play a round, won't you?

Hi, this is a small game/experiment I made yesterday called "Bileview." The game window becomes a tiny picture frame, controlled with the mouse, and you move it around your computer's screen to see if you can catch a glimpse of a monster. Oooh, scary.

Here's an idea of what I mean:

You can download it here: https://scroungin4catsup.itch.io/bileview

Thanks for checking it out.
