Hi there dyenamix, sorry to hear that the game froze on you again. Does this happen often? I'm not sure if you want to, but you could try the demo on Steam; the desktop version is a bit more performant than the browser version.

If you don't mind telling me, do you remember where the game froze? How often does it happen? Does the game run smoothly otherwise? And if you don't mind giving me your computer's specs I'd appreciate that too. I've had a few reports of the game freezing, and it seems to be related to the browser version, but I'm not sure. It will also be useful to know if the Steam version freezes on you too. Any information could be helpful, thanks!
Again, my apologies.

Oh thanks for the kind words, the wishlist and the feedback <3
This browser version is slightly less performant. The desktop version is available on Steam and might run better for you if you feel like trying it out :)
I'm sorry to hear the game isn't performing too well on your laptop. I've been optimizing the game like crazy before releasing the demo and it's running much better than before. I'm still trying to figure out ways to make it perform better still. If you don't mind, could you give me your laptop's specs?
Oh, did you start the game with keyboard and then switch to a gamepad? The keyboard/controller that starts the game controls the main character, and then player 2 can join at any time with another gamepad.
If you start the game with the same controller you want to use during gameplay, then it should all be fine, but let me know if you still have problems with it :)
Are you unfamiliar with pixel-art? These assets are sold at their original size, as they should be. That is how they are supposed to be used in game development. If you need the art to be bigger for some reason, you can easily resize the art yourself. Just realize that it is pixel art and you should keep their aspect ratios and resize them by whole numbers.
Oh that's so cool! I love Spirited Away and the game's concept is neat where you have to watch out how much you eat, what you eat and so on.
I got stuck in room 8 with the first birdies and might come back to it again. The atmopshere is also pretty nice considering it was for a game jam.
Thanks for sharing! :)
Thank you, I'm so glad you like Catset :)
Itch does provide other methods of payment for customers, but right now Paypal is the simplest and best I can do for now, sorry. I will try to look into it and see if it's possible for me to set up more options, when I get the time.
If you want, you can email me at info@seethingswarm.net to get you Catset
I don't use my assets on itch for Primal Planet, except for my kittens pack, but that's kind of an easter egg. It's mostly original art and then some edited versions of asset packs I bought myself from other artists :)
It will be available on Steam and the goal is to get it onto all major consoles too. You can check the game's Steam page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2350270/Primal_Planet/
Hi, yes you're welcome to use these assets in a paid game on steam for example :)
Feel free to use for commercial projects and modify the character if needed. Please use SeethingSwarm If you want to credit me. Do not resell or give away the assets individually. These assets are not to be openly distributed. Thank you!
Hi, people usually email me, message me on twitter or find me in my Discord group, but the process is pretty much the same as what you did. Unfortunately I'm working fulltime on a big project. It is taking up all of my time for at least the next year and I don't have any time for side gigs, sorry :(
An eating animation for the cats is a great idea though, and if I somehow get some free time, I might just add it to the pack, so I'm wondering what kind of eating animation you were thinking of?
