Eye of the Sparrow

Young Edwin Archibald Radoslavliovic must flee his dying planet to return the seed of life to the only being capable of bringing life back to the universe, the Sparrow.Somewhat inspired by the Bad Lip Reading of the US Presidential Debates of 2012, EOTS is an idea I've had as long as the idea of Ultranaut has been around. A minimalist yet colorful journey through space, mixing the feelings of claustrophobia and utter isolation. I'll wake up early tomorrow to do some proper work.

Hooray for surreal space adventure games!

Life In Space wasn't my first pick. Perhaps it was because of the game I made for my Information Technology class this year, called Ultranaut. Here are some screenies, and here is the Github page. It was an orbital-mechanics-based space survival thingy, and I guess I got a little tired of space. But never the matter!

Life in Space is a newish take on space, at least for me. So I'll be brainstorming after breakfast.

Alright chaps, let's do this.

My twits: @sem_hi

I'll be streaming sometimes, who knows. Yee

Hey dudes & dudettes.

I'm Sam, a 17-year-old from the depths of South Africa. I'm hoping to study Physics at uni in 2017, and quite enjoy game development.

I've only really done one jam, and that was LD31. The others have been missed due to school and other such difficulties, however I'm free as a bird now (Wet Hot South African Summer Holidays) and am super eager to get to do the LibGDX jam! I'll be doing it solo, because the only other person I know who'd be willing to give a jam a shot is a friend of mine who writes code so illegible it makes my head hurt.

My arsenal includes LibGDX, Eclipse, FL Studio, SFXR and GIMP. And perhaps some more stuff. You never know with game development ._.

Happy jamming!
