Yeh ive done the battle with all four attacks, the third one always getting it to 0.4

The tentacle monster is unreasonably hard. Always ends up on 0.4 hp then gets me. With potions and without, cannot get past this, been stuck on it for an hour. Got the max upgrades for that point in the game as well. Has anyone actually got passed it?
