the thing is i left the game in the process after entering Lauren's basement, in my attempts to overcome the guy on the bike and when I returned the next day, nothing was saved, and I am little bit obsessed with the saves, cause i don't want my proress to lose, I left the save right when I arrive to the city after the whole process of the basement because of how difficult it was, but it seems that everything just erased, the principal screen didn't show me the "continue" option, just the 'new game' and I did not close the game window

i was playing the recent version and i was trying to go to the Lauren's basement, well trying to trying to reach it, but the thing is in one of those tries i accidentally punch a little wall and spikes or trinches grown and just appear from the floor, and was similar to the lady of the lake attack, i'm curious about it cause, i can't replicate it anymore and it was so fast, i didn't know if val actually can do that normally, someone else can do it?, or someone can answer me?
