I can't recommend anyone download this game. The game has beautiful hand-drawn backgrounds. However, the low polygon enemies look out of place. Additionally, many enemies are either too easy or too difficult. For example, this chimpanzee enemy charges right at you faster than you can run. I find the best way to deal with this enemy is to shoot him while he doesn't see me. Also, there is this yellow enemy (not sure was species he is from) that I never took damage from, ever. I can tell that you guys put time and effort into this game, but as it stands, I don't like it.

I've just posted a gameplay test for "The Legend of the Upriser".
This is to make sure that the community likes the music, gameplay, art style, etc.
The combat takes a lot of inspiration from Hollow Knight.

I have some praises and complaints about this game. First, the artwork is gorgeous, everything is so detailed! That's where my praises end. The controls are stiff and unresponsive. I couldn't figure out how to beat the first level. There is some green thing that I think is important but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Also, the game doesn't automatically reload when you fall into a pit. Overall, I could see that you are putting a lot of passion into this game, but as it stands, it is not worth playing. I hope that you continue to work on this game and make it the best it could possibly be.
This game could be an interesting arcade-style game, but I can't recommend it to anyone. Trying to get to points on a screen in as few jumps as possible is unique and fun. However, I have two criticisms of this game. First, the controls are awful, floaty, stiff, and, unresponsive. Second, every time you even go slightly off-screen, you have to restart the round. I really hope smilesarepic fixes these issues and helps this game reach its full potential.
I made an app called GenCross. https://shifitzel.itch.io/gencross
It's an app that allows you to make, play and share mini-crosswords. Please note that it is still in its alpha so it is going to be glitchy.
First, you need Linux installed. To do that, go to the search bar and type in terminal. You should see an icon that says "terminal". If you don't your Chromebook can't run Linux and thus can't run this game. If you do see it, click on the icon and follow the setup wizard to install Linux. After you installed Linux, you need to install Wine. Wine is a piece of software that allows you to run Windows programs on Linux. Search up "How to install Wine on Linux Chromebook" and there will be tons of great tutorials on how to. After this, rename "Amanda the Adventure.exe" to "Amanda_the_Adventure.exe". Then, open up the terminal and type "wine Amanda_the_Adventure.exe".
This link leads to a random mini-crossword generator. https://shifitzel.itch.io/random-mini-crossword-generator-v-001. However, there is a problem; the words don't have clues yet. As a finite being, I don't have the time or patience to create a clue for all 13,000 words. If you like to help, suggest a clue for a word here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfDa_9KsQVFVqu4yNy_p-_KtRcchzt7TXmG0a48...
