I have been working on a concept for a game that involves the continuous collecting of live chickens for a device.

I'd like to call this device  a "Clucks Capacitor".

The original concept has been set around the idea of:

An endless runner/driver game where the player controls a vehicle that has to keep collecting chickens.

In order to keep driving along in the level environment, the vehicle runs off the power of chickens, via a power source called the clucks capacitor.  Once the capacitor runs of out clucks (chickens are not collected fast enough) then:

Game Over

I plan to have the prototype up soon (by the end of August) so please stay tuned. Thanks

1. What's your name? Where you from?

Tim - Montana, USA

2. What's your reason to be here?

Trying out new engines and Lua language. I want to start and finish a simple game project prototype.  This jam is a great deadline to keep me in check, i.e. help me work on time management and completing project goals.

3. Your favorite games

FFVII, Bioshock Infinite, Peggle, FFXI

4. Favorite engines and tools

Favorite game engines: None yet. I've  used Unity, Game Maker, Stencyl, and Unreal but still looking for an engine that works best for my ideas.  Hope that Defold or Corona can be that engine :D

As for tools I love Photoshop 馃憤

5. What do you want to make in this jam's game the most?)

A simple endless runner game that invokes a fun and entertaining experience for the player.

6. Something cool and motivational for others :)

"Drops wear down the stone, not by strength but by constant falling."

I read that in a music composition book, and for me it means: a little bit of work consistently can go a long way.  Don't give up if you can't dedicate full time to this thing, instead utilize every moment you have even it's only 1 hour a day, it can go a long way !
