I really wanna take part but I'm kinda scared because I know absolutely nothing about any kind of Assembly language. I only know C++ and I don't know if it will be good enough for this. Should I still try my chance?

I've made a space invaders game in python using Pygame module. There is some free copies so be sure to check it if you are interested. I also sell the source code and files of the game for 5$, you can re-use the code, modify it, learn from it do whatever you want after the purchase.

It's a really great game, I love it. I understand that you're trying to stick to original Rogue game but it would make the game a lot better if there is some abilities that player can use, such as sprint, dash or heavy attack. 

1260x720 was just an example resolution to explain what i want to do acutally. I'm looking for a way to show 84x48 pixel at one time

I'm thinking about using Godot to make a game for the jam but I can't seem to figure out how I can show 84x48 pixels in the the screen at once and have a high resolution like 1260x720 in the same time. I would be really happy if anyone can help me about that.

Thanks for the feedback. I put a lot of effort into artworks but sadly I didn't have enough time to draw everything.

Block breaker is my first game ever. I'm trying to give block-breaking games a different perspective, so feel free to dive into it. It's in just really early phases of development, so you can barely call it a prototype but  I would really appreciate it if you give it a try and give me feedback about your experience.
