Oh man, this update sure was heavy on the emotions. Witnessing all of those events made my heart feel heavy, but man, it's a testament to how good the story is so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Scriviner continues to become closer to each of the True Wyverians!

This may be me going off on my own thoughts, but I'm still not sure why I keep imagining the Scriviner saying something like this somewhere in the story, though.  Maybe in an alternate time...?

I assume you're...excited, right? If so, you might've got me in the first half.

Hmm, now that you mention it, having multiple save files on hand does tend to get confusing after a while (I tend to keep one page of saves per character, but even I had a feeling that wouldn't be enough). A way to differentiate them might help.

But I think it's got me wondering about another thing:

With how far along the story is now, it kinda makes me wonder if a Chapter Select system could be implemented, if that's even remotely possible...

If it's due to the heavy emotions lingering in the air, I certainly understand. But if we are to see Leo, Jin, Joseph, Ridge, Koku and Runan smile again, then you know what must be done...

I know I can't speak for the devs, but I think I remember them mentioning that they likely don't have the resources nor the experience to translate the game into another language as of yet.

Even if they could, you might find yourself waiting longer than you would expect, if at all.

I'm sure we can develop a much grander rapport with Garu in Koku's path.

But... Well, umm... Considering that Garu's significantly older than Koku, scenes of intimacy with the father might be pushing it... Joseph notwithstanding.

I remember them saying hopefully by the end of this week, so you might not have to wait long.

You mean the very first CG?  I think that means in Chapter 1, you'll have to spend all three days with Jin. Assuming you've made all the right choices, you'll see a special event that should unlock the CG.

They already said that they might look into making more save files once they finish the main story, so don't you worry about that.

I hate to break it to you, but Leo, Jin, Joseph, Ridge, Koku and Runan are the only ones we can get close to. I'm pretty sure adding another character route would require a lot more time and work as it would drastically alter the story and any other events that occur.

And let's not forget that they would require their own CGs, and all that other stuff since they have their own unique histories, personalities, and many other factors.

So yeah, as far as the game itself and the development process goes, I can't really see any additional routes being added, even if it were somehow possible. But one can imagine, right?

Oh, I assure you that they're still there. They might be quite active on Twitter, for what it's worth.

Look, I would like to see the next update as much as the next person, but the devs have got their hands full with things going on in their daily lives, if you haven't heard.

So just be patient for a little while longer, okay? I'm sure they're doing their best.

Yeah, it certainly is, and there's even an 18+ warning (though there are no...spicy scenes as of yet). Even the devs themselves said as such, so I wouldn't recommend playing this game if you're not old enough or if you are averse to NSFW content.

As far as I know, I know that there are three bad endings you could get (there might be more). You would be on the right track on your route if you saw "To Be Continued," at the very end, but otherwise...

Spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.

1st Bad Ending (Days 4-7)

You do not spend at least three days with the villager of your choice.

2nd Bad Ending (Day 14)

You have one of the felynes stay behind instead of yourself.

3rd Bad Ending (Day 17)

You make too many mistakes in the trial.

A bad ending would be signified by a wall of text against a black background. Not to mention that the overall tone of the text is highly ominous. I should know, since I inadvertently got the second one in a reckless fashion...

I can't really blame you for feeling that way. I mean, all six of 'em are very much admirable in their own ways. Their personalities make them so charming (Leo might need some getting used to, though)!

If you ask me? I really like (or love) all six of them! They're all so precious, and I would do anything to make them happy!

Not sure what specific part you're referring to, as the entire event leads up to that (hopefully, based on the decisions you've made), but regardless, the guide will tell you everything you need to know.

Whoa there, calm down. I know you're eager for the next chapter, what with the story as it is right now, but the update's only been out for a month. The devs will need some more time before they can release the next one.

I don't know if you've read the devlogs yet, but I think I've heard the devs mention that they're aiming to release the next update before the end of the year (this is purely conjecture, but it could mean some time in December). If that's not to be, then maybe some time in January. Then again, it could take longer, because I'm pretty sure you know how many curveballs daily life likes to throw.

So until then, just be patient, okay? There's no need to pressure them like this...

I remember the devs saying that it's just not feasible right now. I'm pretty sure they've been thinking about it, but I don't think that'll be implemented any time soon.

It might just be me, but I think dating two characters at once would require additional dialogue and significant changes in story direction, and that will take a lot more time than intended.

Quick question: Will new sprites/expressions for the Main 6 be added to the Log Book Gallery some time in the future?

Just went through three of the six paths, and man, this update is such a heavy hitter. I've never felt such raw emotions before, but it clearly goes to show how much of a great story it is so far!

I hope you guys (the devs) are enjoying your break, because you very much deserve it after going above and beyond for this update!

...That being said, knowing how the story is right now, the wait for the next update is gonna be...markedly painful...(no pressure, though)

Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do in the next update!
