i fixed it by clicking on show package contents, opening the contents file, opening the MacOs file and then clicking on the terminal file called "Funkin" 

right click on the desktop version --> click on show package contents --> click on the contents file --> click on the MacOS file --> there should be a terminal executable file named "Funkin". If you click on that it should work

hey i downloaded the mac version of the game and it crashes everytime i make it past the loading screen. anyone else having this problem ?
