actually... a good idea????
ive been scrolling through the comments for a while and most people are either "GIEV KEY" or "just buy it on steam"
multiplayer dedicated servers would be a good idea
another good idea would be just bake the achievements into the game
another good idea would just be have the leaderboard data be from local attempts (like arcade style)
this is the first one I've seen to have a idea (other than "just send key to all of us")
OK OK OK
IM GONNA CLEAR UP SOME MISINFORMATION
THE ONLY STEAM EXCLUSIVE FEATURES ARE:
- ACHIEVEMENTS
- LEADERBOARDS
- MULTIPLAYER (when it comes)
NOTHING ELSE IS EXCLUSIVE
ALL OF THE NEW ITEMS WILL COME TO ITCH
ITCH JUST GETS UPDATES LATER THAN THE STEAM VERSION
also…
I don’t think us not getting steam keys is Mike’s fault, I think it’s Critical Reflex’s (the publisher)
But either way, it’s a indie game guys, they gotta make money somehow AND other games do this all of the time (a few examples: shovel knight, Minecraft, Undertale, Everhood, and Omori just to name a few) but I don’t see anyone complaining about that
I bought the game on itch, and when the steam version came out, bought that (I already have more playtime in it than most other games I own on steam lmao). It’s really not that hard, guys.
