I’ve played in this one and it was a blast!

A master of micro content with another banger

DNGN CLUB is one of my favorite new designers. Their daily content always slaps so hard

Fuck yes. I’ve been waiting all week for this to drop

Super cereal for super cereal gamers

Free until the end of August!

Obsidian Publish doesnt publish a fully plugin’d out vault as a website, just the base markdown. So if you rely a lot on dataview, Canvas etc, theres not a direct vault-to-website path.

All that said, if you are using mostly the base plaintext markdown, there are free and fairly straightforward ways to a website. I’ve used 2 different methods to push my vault folder with git to github to autogenerate websites.

Here’s a big vault of dungeon23 megadungeon resources, similar to your notion project, that I did this way. https://old.sketchyvanrpg.com/vault/

Crowd/itch funding is the way to go

Theres lots of folks who’ve been through it that are willing to give advice, too

  • Remnants of ship repair tools
  • Back room faintly glows

👀👀👀

Very nice! I’ll add it to the next batch of updates, it’s now huge and moved to https://duvelmandice.github.io/vault/

Megafauna Processing Station - Room 1

Dilapidated Canal Docks

  • Fragments of 500yo shipwreck in canal
  • Shoulder-deep water
  • 1 man-sized octopus guards chest with 2d10 x10 gp
(1 edit)

If you follow the canals from the banks of the River they eventually lead to some kind of large processing facility

These ruins have been abandoned for ~500 years, though the main structure shows little signs of disrepair

What is this place?

Pitch

  1. [ ] - There are awesome horrors in the deepest places of the earth
  2. [ ] - A high-magic society caused a cataclysm that wiped out civilization on a continent for centuries
  3. [ ] - The remnants of the cataclysm are like nuclear radiation; it is a power source and a mutagen
  4. [ ] - The last few decades have seen the first successful expeditions to the destroyed continent as the residual magics decay
  5. [ ] - The driving force behind the expeditions have been Occult “scientific researchers”

Pitch Ideas/Brainstorm

  • Old gods still live slumbering in the deep forgotten places
  • There are horrors beyond comprehension in the old places. Lovecraftian vibes bb!!
  • Power seeking individuals seek out this old gods & their relics
  • Magic is very strange & corrupting (dark occult?)
  • [[The Rend]] created nuclear radiation style mutation. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S. vibes
  • [[The Rend]] was ~500 years ago, wiped out all civilization on a continent
  • Now there is nuclear radiation style mutations of the local flora/fauna as the wilderness reclaims the corpse of humanities past
  • Surrounding continents civilizations have recovered to the point that the [[Blistered Rend]] are being repopulated?
  • ~500 years was the half-life of some lethal magical energy, and now the edges of the [[Blistered Rend]]
  • The [[Lux Solis Occasum]] were the last of multiple cycles of Civilization>Cataclysm>Rebuilding
  • There must be something powerful deep & dark that everyone unlocks and eventually implodes
  • Is there a giant Sahara Desert “waste” that encircles the continent?
  • Fuck it there is a Dark Sun circle around this place now
  • Frontier towns build up to fuel expanding “scientific research expeditions”, but lead by the Occult [[Reclaimers]]
  • [[The Rend]]? Magic was so widely used that it “precipitated out of solution” causing a nuclear particle flash
  • This precipitate is one source of the buried magical power sources, a la Uranium deposits. [[Astel from Crust]]?
  • *“A Bone-witch collects the opalescent milk of Magical precipitate” -idk dude go with it
  • *Is the adventure involving a Mad Scientist/Occult Wizard? Probz

Inspiration

oh these are amazing… jaw drop

I love the different layout options!

DOTGRID IS LIFE

These are great!

nice! yeah this was just my personal notes that grew to the point it seemed silly not to share

I had it in with assets, it got lost down at the bottom

Reorganized to put the Assets & Templates up at the top :)

Please add any resources here as comments and I’ll add them!

The cover layout on this speaks to my heart :) Bookmarked for when I run a space/scifi campaign

Thanks so much for giving this a look!

This is a really cool system for some stone age adventures.

It also uses a "rules-light" take on narrative dice similar to the Genesys system used in the FFG Starwars games, which is really interesting.

A cool change of pace system with a really cool starting adventure! 10/10

This was a super helpful resource when writing/editing my first products!
