Hi! It absolutely does have a Discord server and we would love to have you! There is a Discord invite link in The Sorrowvirus' main menu, unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work right now (we've reached out to Discord for help) so here's a temporary link!

Hey Skydjinn! Thank you so much for the kind words and for sharing your video with us! I really enjoyed watching it and I hope to see you play more of it and potentially discover all the endings! Our monster, the Soulrender, can be seen in secret areas but it's not an antagonist of this Short Story. Thank you again!
The Sorrowvirus: A Faceless Short Story (https://sklarlight.itch.io/sorrowvirus) is a completely free mini single-player campaign (30-45 minutes) with four different endings to find. Our 1.0.4 update focused primarily around lighting optimisation, so now performance is drastically improved from 1.0.3, with a 40-50% improvement in FPS.

Wyatt has visited Purgatory more than any other recorded subject, join him on his penultimate venture to Purgatory with the intention of setting his soul free from the endless suffering that he has faced since he was a young child. With four endings in sight, only one is the true ending, will you endeavour to help Wyatt set himself free?
We've just finished our game on the 28th Feb, so a little too late to have been part of this jam, but I wondered if there might be another one soon or if it's only an annual jam? Alternatively, anybody know of any similar jams to recommend that allow games that have been in development for a while? Thanks!

We've never made a game before, but we're proud to release a precursor to our full game, Faceless, a Short Story titled The Sorrowvirus! (https://sklarlight.itch.io/sorrowvirus)

I hoped to share it with you all because it's 100% free for those of you who would like to download it! We are running a crowdfunding campaign also in the hopes of being able to develop the rest of the game to a degree that we wouldn't be able to otherwise! This Short Story was solely created to ensure we had something that you could actually get your hands on. We also have a Discord Server if anybody would like to join. We'd love to hear what you think of The Sorrowvirus. We've never made a game before, and it's taken far longer than it should've but we're just proud that we finally have something to show before we return to developing the rest of the game.
In case you don't like playing horror games, but love watching YouTubers play them, you can watch 8-BitRyan (Who also voices a character) play it here!
