Very nice game, it had a lot more complexity than I expected! You've gotten me interested in working with Pico-8 :D

This also just happened to me, it occurred during the enemy's turn after using a watering can. Hope this helps!

Ceiling Toss Gameplay

Ceiling Toss is a browser minigame where you try to "toss" the ball as close to the ceiling as you can without touching it.

(There is a high score in the actual game, it was implemented after the screenshots were taken).

Play Here!

This game started as a personal side project, and had already been finished by the time I found the Minigame A Month jam. Coincidentally, I had made the game within the jam's submission time, so I decided to go ahead and submit the game despite it not following the theme. Now that I know the jam exists, I plan to try out future themes!

This concept blew my mind! It was very fun to play, great job!

Cool little game, would love to see more!

I personally feel like I discovered the mechanic at the perfect pace, I had sort of figured it out early on but it wasn't until the later levels that I was forced to get good at doing it. I personally wondered if anyone else struggled figuring it out since it's never really explained.

I LOVE this game, I've already beaten it and now I'm enjoying trying to get/stay in first place on every level! (I'm Sky, so try to beat me if you can :))

damn, I missed it only by a couple minutes :(

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

That’s a good idea! Thank you for the feedback!

You can never go wrong with chickens!

Thank you so much! The aliens come in peace!

Thank you so much! My goal was to make it as visually appealing as I could!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!

I would have liked to implement that, but time was not on my side! Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much! It’s playable in the browser on mobile if you want to try that!

I’m so glad you had fun!

I'm glad you enjoyed! I haven't, but I would like to!

Thank you so much!

The chickens will never learn! Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing!

Very nice, the concept was cool and it was executed very well. The art is cute as well :)

Thank you! The aliens only want to help :D You're actually able to play on mobile in the browser, although you have to decrease the size of the page. It's also quite difficult to play on a small phone!

Thank you! I actually spent a few hours drawing up a completely different idea, and ended up scrapping it. I didn't end up writing down a single thing for this idea! I just started working and let it flow naturally, and I personally think it ended up being silly and fun because of it!

Thank you for all of the kind words! I hope you got to work okay! I do wish I tweaked the difficulty a bit, and I wanted to add more visual cues such as bars above the chicken or hearts for how many lives you had, but time wasn't on my side! Nonetheless, I'm so glad you enjoyed!

I'm glad you had fun! Thank you for playing!

Looks so cool! I recommend showing the game as a windows game, it could get confusing to certain people.

Thank you so much for all of your kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed! The game actually works on mobile in the browser, if you want to give that a shot!

I'm glad my game was engaging! Thank you for playing!

I'm so glad you had fun! I found myself doing that as well!
