Exceptional! It reminds me of the fun I had with a game-and-watch game when I was young -- I think it was just called "egg?".

There's a nifty way the difficulty ramps up with making sure you don't bump the good food, and being able to move the scanner in addition to the zapper is a nifty way to both empower the player and make navigation just a hair more skilled.

I'm also impressed with the scanner effect that you made! I might have to figure out how you did that using Pico-8.

Hello, Everyone! I'm exited for this game jam to get started. I have encountered a challenge from the get-go, unfortunately...

My computer currently only has a Linux (Ubuntu) partition and a smaller 32-bit windows 10 partition, so my choices for out-of-box game engines like Unity and GameMaker seem out of the question. Considering that this game has to be made within two weeks, I don't suspect that I want to try and make everything on my own using just SFML like I have in the past.

Does anyone have any recommendations for frameworks or engines compatible with Linux development?

Thank you! I look forward to Jamming with all of you.
