Nice one mate. I'm having a blast in this right now, at 2:30 in the morning :D

I am enjoying it very much. The poop weapon is hilarious. Unfortunately I think I found another bug. On the screen where there's a crate on the right that you can use to jump up onto a platform it was all fine. I went right on to the next screen to have a look. That was also fine, but when I went left to go back to the previous screen your little doggy had disappeared. The game was still running just no dog on screen anywhere.
Your game is beautiful. The graphics are amazing, even the colour clash doesn't mess things up, and having the player only able to collect one item at a time is a wonderful idea as it allows you to explore many screens and collecting each item is a little puzzle in itself. I also like how each item helps to build up the scene in the den. I love the little messages, the location names, the time limit, actually having a score. I tried the game out and managed to collect 8 items. I will give it a proper go when I get more spare time. I'm not joking when I say this game is better than any mole or willy game I've played. It's one of the best platform games I've played on the Spectrum. I reckon it'll score 90%+ in Crash, It definitely should. Congratz on a fantastic job 😊👍
Thanks mate, really appreciate the video and the fact that you got past the little puzzles and discoveries that many people gave up on. There's only 3 or 4 really difficult screens after you get to the snowmen so hopefully you'll get to see a lot more of the game. There's 25 screens in all plus an finish game screen. Thanks mate. You're right. It's not an easy game but with a lot of practice you'll be able to finish all 30 levels and get to the congratz screen. I did quite a lot of research for the places in the UK and it's geographically correct in a clockwise circle around the UK. Some of the buildings are correct for the places too. I got inspiration from an old BBC Micro game called Daredevil Dennis. This game is an evolution of that.
I think it has issues with +2. I remember someone mentioning another older game was not working correctly with their +2. Maybe try emulation and see if that works better as you can select the model. I think it's fine with a basic 128k machine. Not sure about +3. Unfortunately I believe it's an AGD problem so not much I can do to fix it.
