Ah, you're right! Downloading through the Itch client fails, but I can use the download button on the webpage like you say. Thank you!

Really liked this one. Super unsettling... Especially the shot of the creature in Ending B that just holds and holds and holds until your face is stolen. I have a low tolerance for horror (i.e. I shit my pants when there are loud noises and hyper-realistic blood eyes), so I appreciate that the game is focused more on building dread and fascination rather than ruining my evening.
BTW I think you have an amazing grasp on imagery. Everything in the scene contributed to this weird mix of unease, surveillance, artificiality. Loved the painting of the cabin, and strangely the blinds, they looked just grimy enough to creep me out.
Also, I thought the unfamiliarity of everything in object descriptions was a weird player contrivance at first, but looking back it feels like there's a bigger theme of information being stolen or removed. It's like the creature takes your memories too, or maybe your whole identity? Omg and the blown-out white balance hiding the girl's face in the framed photo mirrors the whole face-stealing thing... I'm a genius... Thanks for the great game!
I really, really like your stuff. I've played this, Lake Ophelia, Winter Walk, and Fatum Betula. Each one is unique and interesting and satisfies the weird horror itch in me. Fatum Betula is definitely my favourite though! You've inspired me to learn Unity and try making little things myself. It's intimidating, but somehow, the whole PSX style makes gamedev seem more accessible. You make such beautiful, confident stuff with the style, but I feel like the ground floor of it is low enough for me to make things that look at least 'passable', or maybe even interesting. If that makes sense. Your games are great, thanks so much for making them!
