Negotiable. Willing to work for Rev-share

Hello! I am a writer looking for a project to help out on. I've worked on two games, linked below, for game jams. My full work on these projects is available upon request. Otherwise, I've written a fan fiction novel, with a totally original cast of characters, and most of the setting was original as well. It's an original story set in an established universe. Same thing with another short story I've written. Both are also available upon request.

I've written a handful of unpublished short scripts and other original stories.

I understand a lot of the theory of game design, but don't have much hands-on experience.

I can help out minimally with level design and environment art if needed.

https://metaarcade.itch.io/message-received It's a sci-fi puzzle game. At the end of each level, you can read a collection of news articles, podcast transcripts, and emails. I wrote all of those.

https://onebrittwonder.itch.io/deadhead-haul The published section of this game has the main character, a trucker, having a conversation with a mysterious hitchhiker. The rest of the game also features strange interactions, conversations, and a radio show.

I can write in just about any genre. Whatever you need, let's talk!

This looks amazing! Are there any tutorials for it?

What engine is this for?

Looks great! I notice the download says "demo." Does that mean there's a full version somewhere else?

I am a writer (and narrative designer), and my friend is a 3D artist. I have some experience with level design and environment art, so I can help with those things, including decoration and environmental storytelling, but I don't think I could cover that all on my own.

We also need a programmer, and possibly a composer if anyone is interested.

We have plenty of ideas, but of course we're waiting for the Jam to start planning anything. And if anyone wants to work on games with us beyond the Jam, we'd be happy to talk about that too!

This looks really cool! What's the engine?

Very cool!

Does anyone know of some good tilesets for a top-down game about a summer camp? I know they exist, but I cannot seem to find them.
