Make sure to make use of the 'Power up' system in the Party menu back at the home base - stats are pretty low to start, so you need to boost them up with cash. Levels don't effect your stats directly, but you can get some freebie stat boosts (and skills) by using the 'Class Change' system to upgrade your classes at levels 5 and 15 each - and on top of that, money and xp are boosted when going solo in fights, so there's incentive to take advantage of that to mitigate the grind a bit.
I made some adjustments in 1.1 to help address that exploit and easier difficulty - it should be a bit harder now! I'm trying to figure out how to handle the issue of the walls, but when designing it I treated it like a classic Sonic game - where the most fun is when you know the obstacles around you, and your focus is on execution.
Also I absolutely didn't anticipate anyone hitting S rank so quickly to be honest - nice!
No, that's normal - the "first" level was still a work in progress at the time, but the Time Trial stage was actually what I made first, so you can at least play that!
The idea of doing some kind of weight gain platformer is one I'd love to come back to, it's just not likely I'll come back to this version of the concept unless I were to start from scratch.
I did (the "sensitive content" checkmark), it's why when you load up the page it warns you that the game isn't for minors. It also doesn't show up in search for those who aren't adults, purely because of that.
I just added the tag to go on top of that, but I already did the work to make sure that it doesn't get seen by minors under normal circumstances.
They're based upon the bindings you set in the Options menu - they aren't actually those numbers. If there's issues accessing that menu, press F8 on the title screen to reset the bindings to the default.
I just updated this page to include those keyboard defaults, since they were previously only on the Weight Gaming thread.
