Don't worry. It was still a great game with the time limitations considered. Here is a sound resource if you'd like to get into sound: https://freesound.org.
I would recommend using Audacity or any DAW to snip the unwanted sounds as well.
The speed run timer was a great idea though! It made it more intense

I had great fun with this game! The level design was a stand out here, I loved the use of the jumping on walls to wall climb. The game was not unfair in any level and made you think outside the box to reach to the end. The game doesn't feel like it's in a storm or before the storm however. You could've added a tornado or hurricane that slowly approaches you maybe? Since you have a time limit, (I completed the game in 13 minutes), there could've been a mechanic where you have to reach the ending in 10 minutes in order to not get caught up in the storm or something like that? The game could've also had a bit of sound. All in all though, excellent game :)
Hi, the game looks like it could be cool. The music and sprite art is nice. Going from the first level into the second from opening the door, there seems to be no storming of the castle no matter how much I explore. I see that you submitted 21 seconds before deadline though so well done for submitting the game in time :)
Hi, Well done for making a game in 24 hours! Unfortunately, I don't think I can go to the next level. From what I can tell, you have to either go in an order of 3,2,1 or 1,2,3 for the sprites. However, the area of attack is rendered first for collision rather than the balls so I don't think you can actually progress. But the sprite art is great. Also, if you spam the attack it crashes.
Just Finished the Brackey's game jam with around 20 minutes until deadline! But, I am glad to say that this is my coolest game yet. Thank you to the Brackeys team for providing such a fun and cool theme. Hopefully, everyone else enjoyed the Jam :) If anyone wants to try out my game,

I tried my best to optimise as much as possible with this unreal engine project.
Thank you for the feedback! I used something called HISMs for the blocks to mine which helps a ton with performance but I didn't realise that Unreal's size of the array, that holds all of those duplicate meshes, would cause stutters even when you would have the direct index from a line trace. Although the performance is crap, this game jam helped me look into chunk based systems that games like Minecraft use which would allow a HISM to not go through 100,000 items but instead 10,000 or something like that.
I finally finished my third UE5 game jam. I just wanted to say that after this roller coaster of a ride, I can say that I am proud of my progress. The game is 80 percent finished compared to my usual 30-50. It's not great but it's not terrible. If you want to test the game out, It's a free country :

Hopefully everyone had a great time with the creation of their games as well! If you are down and tired, don't worry I am too :)
Thanks for testing my game out. To hit the rune to possibly cast a spell, it has to be in the centre of the screen and if you do it too early or too late you will miss the rune. However, the feedback is good as I thought the hitbox for the runes was big enough so definitely will change when I get the chance.
Hello, I am not quite sure how this works as this is my second game jam. But I think this is the link to my game if anyone wants to check it out. Thank you in advance if you check it out!
