When I finished the boat ride, it put me on the other side of the boat (onto the black, I'm not fully sure if it put me there or I walked there by accident) It only let me walk toward the left and when i tried to get more money for a boat it said it was my day off and there was no way to walk over to the other side.
I don't know if this is intentional or not but I couldn't find a way out after that
