Apologies for the typos, as there seem to be quite a lot. It was an early morning after a long night when I wrote that.
Thanks,

Hi, nice work with this! I love the free roaming aspect. No walls to hit, just the endless space. Also no forced movement, that was nice. The game has a bit of a flaw, since it is a free roaming game, the asteroids sometimes spawned on top of the ship, ending the game. The buttons could use some sort of indication that they're pressed, like a sound, or a visual clue. Pan the camera out a bit, and it will be very nice!
I really liked the boost speed and how smooth it is. The sideways movement might be a bit slow in contrast to the stars. I found myself frustrated many times when I missed the star by a few millimeters. The sound design works nicely, and the asteroids give a decent challenge. The menu is great, I really liked that. Overall it was good fun.
The detailed spacecraft really shines here, the visuals overall are very cool. The glowing, floating instructions really looked awesome. The sideways movement felt a bit odd, since it just jumps to the side and it really doesn't like if I pressed it more than once in a one second timespan. "RERTY" made me chuckle, sorry! The red text on the start button really clashes against the cold atmosphere, maybe change that to something equally cold and it really is a nice menu.
How cool is it that the rocket sets off from a space volcano? The music is really unique and the visuals are dangerous looking and really works for the game. Maybe pan the camera a bit further away so the player could see a bit more. There wasn't much to tell me am I really moving up or staying still if I didn't boost. The explosion animation seems to loop. I enjoyed this, hopefully it gets developed further!
The space in this feels like underwater, maybe the lighting and textures have something to do with it, but it does feel nice. It feels a bit empty and easy. I got only 3 asteroids on my first try and 1 collectable. At first I wasn't sure are the obstacles collectables, they seemed like a bigger version of them. The pause upon collision is humorous, it really tells the player "you messed up" and the following piece of piano music just amplifies the comedy. In a good way. It would be nice to pause or quit in the middle of the game. All in all nice work.
Such an unnerving atmosphere, complete with a equally unnerving soundtrack. The eyes make this game almost seem like a horror game, if it was even darker and if some deranged sounds were added. I enjoyed this, maybe add some animation to the obstacles to make it feel even more alive? The fuel gauge was a nice touch, and the warning sound just works. A quit button would be nice. Solid work!
I really love the rocket's visual appearance, and the animation upon collecting a star gives it personality, but it ends in a jerky way, maybe add a quick rotation to that part? Sound design is fun, and the controls kept me playing for a while now. I don't know if I'm stuck to my own ways but some static objects in the background would give it an extra indication that the player is indeed moving up. Solid game though!
The cold space is very pleasing to the eyes, and the sound design is good. Maybe the collectable sound was a bit too loud in comparison to the rest. I don't know if the camera is shifted to the right on purpose as a design choice but it felt a bit distracting. All the collisions and hitboxes work as they should, maybe a little too hard, since the spacing between the asteroids is narrow, it requires some trial and error so learn the tropes. some static background objects would be nice, to give some indication that we are moving up. All in all, solid work!
Hello everybody! First of all, Galaxial Crack Shot is my first ever game and I made it to test out the game engine. The game turned out fun and challenging so I decided to publish it. It is a top-down view shooter set in space, where cute yellow alien species are just curious what you are. But, if they touch you, you blow up.
It is a local multiplayer for two players, but a single player mode is also available. It supports DS4 and XBONE controllers, and use the analog sticks to move and shoot. The next projects are bigger and completely different than this, so I hope you will stick around when the news arrive for the next title. Thank you.
