Learn You a Game Jam: Pixel Edition community · Created a new topic STARTING FROM ZERO!!! Maybe create a team? (Using Unity)
I have 0 experience making video games, (technically not true cause I started making a game with RPGMaker MV but never got very far with it) and I am using this as a chance to force myself to have a time line and actually get started. I have experience programming as I work in IT for my day job, and I am learning C# although I have experience in PowerShell, python, html, and ruby. I have 0 talent in asset creation and I have played around with Unity so I am decently able to navigate. I just think this is a fun way to get started. I am using this time before the jam to learn as much as I can so I am doing tutorial projects until jam time. If anyone else is the same way and want to team up I am up to trying! The point of this is learn and have fun, so we can learn together. If not I am fine trying solo. Just wanted to get my story out.
