Detective,
Someone did you dirty, and it was someone you trusted. Through rumors and creative role-play determine who betrayed you but do it quick as the trail runs cold fast, each turn a bold decision to be made. Pick your suspect, talk to them and press them on a particular rumor you think might lead you on the path to the truth. Meanwhile as you spend time with others, clues run dry and each player removes one rumor at the end of the turn giving the detective one less chance to find the truth. Once all the rumors have run cold the game ends and the Detective must use their wit and sleuthing to make the claim on who the traitor was! Take your time and think hard about what you learned through role-play to figure out how to find justice for your own murder.
Luck based on the flip of a coin, approach the suspect and through good faith role-play act out your perfect Noir tale of your choosing.
Good luck Detective, its a cold world out there and you're all on your own.

Welcome, off to a small but humble start. I look forward to seeing your sumbissions on your takes of Transhuman values, ethics and exploring the core principals of human ego and personhood. Please don't hesitate to join the Discord server, its not just a great place to workshop with other creatives but also foster polite and constructive discussions of the industry, meta discussions of varied topics that fall under the Transhuman umbrella. Hopefully we can continue to remain a community beyond the framing of the Jam ahead of us and foster a community of understanding, equity, equality and unity.
Thanks for your time,
Matt
I have a very rough start to the Beowulf Jones idea, but I think I really like where its going. Im going to lightly tinker with it for a day or two and let ideas marinate, but I have at least decided on a method of play and ideas on rules bending and creativity as well as gen tables to help make the story the player tells have plot points if they aren't or cant make their own points. IF you would like a peek to see if it vibes, I would be glad to sh are it, I have it on a draft itch page.
This game is inspired and influenced by the real life actions of Stanislav Petrov who chose to disobey his orders and prevented a nuclear war.
The game is simple, but asks a lot of you as a player and asks the GM to be very devious and sneaky. Great head to head play if you can handle the material at hand.
Played with a deck of standard playing cards, bluff your way through a missile attack on your player's nation while they try to determine if you are lying or not based on the suit and number of the cards you both drew.
There are no winners in war, but there can be an end.
I do hope you can find some time to play and enjoy it!
I must say having joined the Jam and met with the other developers through the discord server, I have met some amazingly talented and creative people. I am excited and encouraged to be among a welcoming and inviting community. Great games are filling the Jam submission list, and you should not miss out!

You and your team are strapped into the drop ship seats, the lights go red as you’re told to brace for impact. With a thunderous crash explosions go off of blowing a hole through the hull of the capital ship your team has been sent to take down from the inside. You are released from the safety harness of the seat and ready your rifle. The ramp doors drop open, the invasion has begun. Will you succeed in your mission? Will you survive to the end? Grab your gun, use your wits, and feel empowered with strange psychic energies! Utilize your creativity to create unique solutions to the problems ahead of you as just moving and shooting wont cut it.
Just released for open testing and feedback. The game is free and will remain free even through to its eventual 1.0 release.
