I can see this game being easily expanded to something really cool!
Since currently the game is not very difficult, I found it better to play by posing self-made restrictions (e.g: I can only choose 1 card per turn)
Its really satisfying upgrading the ship and see it expanding :)
Good job guys! It was cool playing it!
Solid puzzles! At first I got a bit frustrated, because I got stuck when I "spent" all the energy of the machine, and couldn't find a way to restart it, but after coming to the comments I saw that I just needed to press 'R'.
After that, things went smoothly. I love how you didn't made the tutorial mandatory, and left to whoever needed it, to read the book. I say this because I felt that the mechanics were really intuitive.
Love the concept of using the shadows to duplicate items, the overall theme of the game and execution! Amazing!
I love this game!
It is a really cool idea being able to put the drinks before the customers arrived, I loved how it added an extra layer of planning.
The different drink sprites was also an awesome touch to it.
The last call effect is so ~juicy~
At first I was confused "Hey, the game is offering these attack/health upgrades, but where's the combat in the game?", but on night ~7 it clicked ahaha
The game gets really challenging (lost at night 10), but in a really nice pace.
Overall, really enjoyed playing it!
Thank you so much for your words, it means so much to us!!
To answer your questions: we also feel like the story we wanted to tell is pretty much completed, and we don't plan to expand on that.
What we do plan to expand a little bit on, also answers your other question: no, currently the black and golden cards are just fun-to-see easter eggs, we didn't got the time to further explore them, but we are planning to implement some kind of side-puzzle for them - something that will not be necessary to finish the game, but will unveil some cool secrets :)
