Thanks for beliving in me, dude!

I am stupid, so i couldn't complete the level with different color lights, but the game looks and sounds great!

Experience is never superfluous. Especially if this big game is your first project.

Inspiring

Thanks for your feedback, and thanks for playing!

Thank you very much for your feedback. There are a few things you mentioned, that i'm trying to fix right now, but there's something i didn't even think about until reading your post, thanks. And thanks for playing!

Really cute game. I like that you need to use real physical map to find the house where you need to deliver parcel, and the fact that you need to actually pay attention to your surroundings to remember where you've already delivered mail is really good. It's up to you to decide, ofcourse, but i definitly would suggest to abstain from adding markers or something like that, that tells you that you've been at that house already, but instead maybe add more variations of houses and unique landmarks so you would be able to orrient better, but i understand that it's very time-consuming. Besides that, i had issues with FPS too, but i have an old PC so i didn't want to mention that, but it seems that i'm not the only one

Sorry for replying so late, i had some issues with computer. Thanks for your feedback, it's much appreciated.

For the most part, i didn't add a lot of things you mentioned, because i didn't have much time left, yes. And due to the fact that it was my first game, there were a lot of things i was doing for the first time: for example, drawing sprites or adding sounds in game, or working with 2d in general, previosly i was working with 3d only.

1) Thanks, i was trying a lot of different stuff, when i was working on movement, because i tried to make it feels to control the character as pleasant as possible, and i spent to much time time on that, so i had to go with what i've got and move on to the different things. I was gonna add effect that would appear after 3rd jump to tell a player, that it was his last jump, and when the player would land, another effect would appear, that tells you, that abillity to jump is restored. It would inform the player without using words on screen as you were saying.

1a)  I was gonna make walljump working when you press the opposite direction, but again, sadly didn't have time to do that. But i didn't plan to do automatic jump to the different direction when you near wall and press jump and similar stuff, the idea was that you need to "hold on to a wall", which is achieved by moving towards it in the air, to be able to jump from it. To make it a little challenging.

1b) In the contrary, I thought 3 jump was to much and that i didn't even have a lot of places on the levels where i could place those wall-jump restoring items, and they reappear after the character dies (they should work like that, at least), so every time you're trying to complete a level you start with the same abillities.

1c) Hiboxes is a big issue, that's true, but i didn't plan to add checpoints, because i was thinking the game was too easy and too short even without chekpoints, and it kinda feels better when you beat the whole level, but it's more punishing, when you must replay a big chunk of a level that you've already learned how to complete, but the levels are short and simple, so i thought people maybe will fall on spikes a couple times but will eventually make it through

2) The first level is there to "show" a basic movements - the character can jump, then walljump, and then the game tells you that you can jump only 3 times, and then mix it together. There is no time limit, because you learn about that on the 2nd level and then you find these time pickup and etc. But it wasn't very suttle, you're right about that. There are a lot issues with sounds and music, i'll try to fix that and other stuff and add a "patch" version later... I hope i will.

4) As for seperate exe file for setting, I don't know how to do that, i might wanna learn about it, but i'll maybe add pause screen with sound settings and something like that.

Again, i didn't thing the game is that hard for some reason, and thought it was a little chalenging, it makes a player struggle a bit to eventually overcome.
I mean, i like when videogames instead of explaining you every single asspect of the game through text or UI, show you that through the game design and gameplay mechanics and tell you about that using sounds and music and not words. When games let the player expirience them and learn mechanics for themselves, and not doing explaining them. When this kind of aproach suits the game, i guess. That i was trying to do.

And again, thanks for the playing!

Sound and music was the main part of the concept, i wish i had more time to implement every feature that i came up with, but it works (sometimes). Thank you very much!

Thanks for playing! And i'm happy that you liked my stupid music!

Wow, thanks guys! I'm glad to hear that.
