I got level 59 before I got distracted and died. I had a score of 123,517.

Here's my setup, my weapons consisted of triple homing missiles on the front, left and right (homing missiles are very broken) and direct triple lasers on the back. My modifications were Repulsive shield, damage shield, (a very strong duo) healing and damage resistance.

This was really good especially for your first Pico-8 project!

I can't beat the second level the jump to get the coffee coin floating in the air is impossible.

Actually a really fun game I really liked it. I mean there were some bad things like just being able to kill everything in one hit. But I really liked the art style and I actually finished it as well. 

Very fun game I really like it. I mean right now it's just a clone of the mining minigame from diamond and pearl. I saw you're adding upgrades and other modes and such and if you're able to implement them this game would be really fun. Even now it's a pretty good start I really like the feel of everything. The only downside in my opinion is there is no punishment or anything for being greedy and just sitting there clicking away until the cave collapses. It would be really cool if you could leave at anytime in the cave and if the cave does collapse you lose a couple of your gems. Aside from that I really like the game so far.

You can make the animation speed faster in the options menu.

I call it the drunken curse build. It got me through the grandmaster in the first turn since I had 60 gold and kept getting cool and frothy drinks from the keg. Though it gets really hard past level 10. At what I have right now the cursed sword only does 60ish damage per swing and the whetstone doesn't help too much. But it is still pretty fun to play with and it's pretty unique as well. It's not the most powerful but I would give it a shot.
