I was told before my purchase here, a steam key available when the game made it that far

I got it long ago, and during the sale for $5.00, and when I had this same update issue, the developer responded to me with the wait news. I believe the developer said is an itch issue. I have since received two updates. If the free update model for those buying at the sale price has been removed, it is news to me, and definitely a bad thing going forward, but he/she seemed nice about it and even said there would be a steam key for the $5.00 purchasers. I am sure he or she will examine the posts and let us know something shortly. The developer appears to be fair. Afterall, it was the sale purchases which likely provided the revenue to continue the project. I paid $1.00 so long ago, my original save files couldn't be upgraded. People like me are the reasons you can advance the story.
Additionally, I can see the link for the new update, but it does not allow me to see the files, so it seems to be pending. Like I said, the developer said it is an itch issue. Just give it a little more time.
Also, I checked my junk mail and found the link, but all it does is sends me to the free version of the game, which I already have. I saved a copy of the full version minus the episode you just created, and I will go back to that one until any bugs or further instructions come out involving the episode 6 patch.
When I downloaded the patch, this is what happened to the game:
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

ScriptError: Name ('game/character images.rpy', 1601814895, 171) is defined twice, at game/character images.rpy:6 and game/game/character images.rpyc:6.

I was having trouble with the full version download. It seems the Windows version is being overwritten by the Mac version during the Windows download. I was able to separate the two by transferring the Windows version to another folder, but you might want to take care of that to avoid future messages from purchasers. I still need the link for the episode 6 season 3 though.
Additionally, is there a steam link for the purchase of the seasons?
All right guys, settle down. Obviously, you both like the game, but while one of you is patient and understanding of the grind, the other wants quicker releases. No one knows what the developer might be going through personally or financially, however, I am glad for the new release. I stumbled upon it by accident. That being siad, the best we can do is pat the developer on the back, or chip in to help fund it, because believe me, this is a pretty good visual novel, well written, and with good graphics, and the last thing we need is another good project abandoned because of irritating the developer while not providing financial support. By the way, I did chip in.
I just wanted to say; you do nice work! I am not through the novel yet, but your characters have a lot of depth, and even your side characters (like people passing on the street, the park, in stores, baristas, chauffeurs, librarians, and clerks) are gorgeous, and should be in some sort of extra content or a new project! If there was an award for design and story, you'd be at the top! Some developers don't do a lot of detail on the landscape, but you really took your time with this project! I'll be looking forward to your other projects. Good job and good luck!
