I've been having confusion with git and GitHub as this was my first time trying to use version control.

I was wondering if I could still participate in this game jam without using these tools.

If not, please guide me to some guides on how to use git with unity.

I am a beginner programmer who makes games for fun and am not looking for anything serious, if you can't have fun or accept mistakes, look elsewhere.

I hope to find someone who can make 2d art for a short story-based top-down game.

I use the unity game engine.
