thank you!! that makes me really happy to hear bc i also grew up playing rpg horror and i was hoping i’d get the feel of it right :)

i will def figure out if i can add alt controls! i was kinda surprised rpg maker mv didn’t have arrow keys and wasd interchangeable since z and enter are. it might just be buried in the system settings on my end :p

Walkthrough/Hints for Birdhouse Code
  1. the page on the tree in the same area has the word “YOU” on it, with the number 25 written next to the Y and then partially erased.

  2. this number corresponds to the place Y has in the alphabet (letter->number), 25.

  3. doing the same for the other letters, we get O=15 and U=21.

  4. there is a number of dots on the right side of each letter. Y has 2, O has 1, and U has 3.

  5. the number of dots shows the letter/number’s placement in the code. OYU.

  6. the code is 152521.

Thank you for playing! I do intend to add more audio in the future :)

Marble Hornets is an unfiction/found footage series on youtube inspired by the original Slenderman pictures and mythos created by Victor Surge (the first video released just 10 days after the pictures!). If you're curious, there's a few playlists that have the videos in released order with videos from another channel (ToTheArk) that's part of the story. NightMind and Sagan Hawkes have also made really good videos on it if you're not willing to watch the whole thing yourself, but I definitely recommend experiencing it firsthand!

I'm glad you enjoyed my game!

That fixed it! Thank you so much!!

i downloaded this game last night and it worked fine through the tutorial and ~5 mins of my first story mode save but then my computer overheated and shut down. i tried running it again today but the data had reset and when i loaded a tutorial it just showed a black screen. in the menu, all of the settings are set to the minimum value (all sliders are to the left, etc etc) and keybinds shows up as a blank screen. resetting them works inside the menu but apply doesn't, and if i leave and reopen the menu they're all back to the minimum values. no matter how many times i redownload it stays like that. i've tried restarting my pc and updating my gpu driver but idk what else to do. i really wanna play this game :( anyone know a possible fix for this? i'm on windows 10.

I found out abt this game from tumblr and decided to go ahead and buy it since Ive been wanting to play a new horror game. I love this game so much bfhjdkhj I'm definitely gonna replay it because I think I missed some of the extra content but even if you speedrun past all of that the game is still super enjoyable! I really love the character writing/design and I'm still having trouble choosing a favorite. The Christian symbolism is also really cool! Cosmic horror that makes use of biblical angels is one of my fav types of horror and the music and angel designs are again, really fucking cool hjdgkb

It also feels like there's a lot of influence from Golden Kamuy in the style and some elements of the horror/humor (specifically. the uh. [spit in his eyes] lmao). From what I've experienced, GK has a super small fanbase (at least where I am) so it's really cool to find a game that reminds me of it!

Tl;dr this is a super cool game and I can't wait for the next one to come out!

I stumbled across this game earlier today while looking for a new rpg horror game to play--I loved the original turtle head, and I ended up loving this one just as much, if not more! I've played through abt 5 endings including Truth and Goodbye and god, Emma's story hit hard man. The art and character writing are amazing too! It really feels like an expansion on the original, and none of the new additions really felt out of place. It was also really fun to go through the concept art folder and the bonus room; I wish more devs would add stuff like that!

Turtle head is already a huge inspiration for me, and this version really re-lit my self-confidence for my own game, specifically with all the backstory behind Emma & Harriet. I was worried that focusing too heavily on relationships between characters would take away from the horror aspect, but I'm very happy that this game proved me completely wrong.

I'm planning on playing this again with a few friends soon, as well as getting the rest of the endings on my own. I can't wait to see what else this dev team produces! Congrats on making such an amazing remaster!
