It's a fun puzzle game that on a couple of the levels I hand an a-ha moment. The movement controls fell like your on ice, which made it a little more frustrating than in needed to be. Other than that, it's a cool puzzle game, and not too dissimilar from mine!

The art is great, but the game could defiantly  be improved with some music and sound effects. The different enemy types was cool, they should probably have an interaction with the different types of spells. As is, once I leveled up water to a wave, nothing stood a chance and the rest of the upgrades felt more like collectables. Overall, great game! Hope to see more from you in the future!

The logo at the start was a great first impression! The camera angle being rotated from the direction you move the character felt weird and that made it a little harder to control at first. Overall it was pretty creative, good job!

Thanks for the play and feedback, a restart level or reset room button is defiantly one of the first features I will be adding into the next version! I will also be reworking the pickup/ grab system so blocks don't faze through the wall. As well, I forgot to build the lighting and such before packaging my game, so that probably doesn't help with the graphics.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure to fix that up once the GMTK game jam is over.

My game is ready to be released, here it is: https://starkiller2478.itch.io/the-backrooms

Thank you very much, I'm actually first debuing my game irl as my school project on April 20th and 21st. After that I will upload it to itch.io and gladly link it here for you to see!

Hi, I'm making a backrooms game as well and was wondering if I could use your title image in it. Would that be OK, with you? I'll credit you for it of course.
