Thank you! Yes the player controller was just hacked together.. I just uploaded an updated version of the prototype now that the jam is over - would love your feedback on the updated player control. Good idea about the crank. And the transparent characters on the HUD was very much a bug haha. I fixed it.

Thanks! I plan to post a full demo soon! I'll post a devlog when I do.

Thanks! Yeah I agree about the jump, I need to tweak it. It probably feels wonky since the ground control is less than the air control, so you jump a lot farther/faster than expected

Thanks! I liked your playthrough - nice job getting to the end! As for the idea… I wanted to do something with text because of the e-reader-like display, then with the theme and my love of platformers, I landed on this. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much!

Oh weird, any error messages or anything? The original build was crashing  but I fixed it after an hour or so

Thank you! I agree that swapping A & B makes more sense.. it worked on the simulator but probably feels weird on a Playdate- I’ll swap them in the next build, thanks!

thanks! haha this is true, maybe he isn't quite that clever :P

thanks!

thank you!

Thanks I appreciate it! That's how imagined it too, maybe in a future version :)

Thanks, I'd definitely like to!

Yeah I noticed that as well- I just reduced the time. Thanks!

Very helpful tips, thanks! Yeah.. that second level was too easy at first and now it is too hard.. glad you didn't ragequit haha

Cool idea! I liked the sound effects

Cool game mechanic!

Thanks! Yeah I would like to improve the movement & colliders, and maybe the relative size of the platforms too

Yeah, it was hard for me to show the difference between the solid background and "wallpaper" patterns (one is just changes your color, the other gets you caught). I want to keep working on it.. I think I want to make household objects get the chameleon caught instead of wallpaper patterns. The background changing color would definitely be interesting as well. Thanks!

Cute art style & I like all the interactable objects!

Nice graphics & easy to learn!
