It's really interesting to see someone playing the game. Those black flashes seemed really bad there. Sorry about that. However, that is actually a visual error with the line shader when you move the mouse too quickly, not a wipe to hide the teleporting. Here's a video showing the full game, without too much flashing, if you are interested: 

I played your game. It was pretty good! The music switching between the two tracks was great, and I was able to figure out how to play without instructions. I found spending health for power more fun than not spending. I think it could've done with some particle effects or something when an enemy dies, instead of them just disappearing, if I had to criticise it.
