I'm sorry to hear that but glad to see you're still going with it. Thanks for the update.

In two words: Beautiful Ambience

It was a really relaxing and unexpectedly nostalgic experience. Audio is excellent, no surprise there.

One note, was the item on the desk, in the sub level, supposed to be interactable? I wasn't able to do anything with it.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much, I appreciate the feedback.

***SPOILER***

The zombie actually came in through the storm doors at the end of the basement steps. If you look with the flashlight you can see them open.

Thanks for sharing your playthrough.

thank and thanks for sharing.

Thank you :) odd little invisible zombie bug at the end there, I'll check it out. I appreciate the playthrough video.

Video issue should be fixed now.

I THINK I have it fixed. I've got some people testing it before I upload the patch.

Lamento que não tenha funcionado para você. Obrigado por me avisar, isso ajuda muito.

I watched your playthrough and it seems like some people are getting a bug where the videos on the TV and VHS player aren't working. I'll definitely have to look into this and patch it. I really appreciate the playthrough videos because it lets me see issues I couldn't have found on my own. Thanks, and apologies for the bugs.

Vielen Dank und danke für das Teilen Ihrer PC-Hardware, das hilft sehr. Ich freue mich, dass es Ihnen gefallen hat.

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate that.

Your conclusions are pretty spot on with my own. I relied heavily on marketplace assets and optimizing them has been a royal pain. From getting the texture LODs right to finding all the hidden light sources (you'd be surprised where they turn up) I've realized that I'm an amateur trying to reconfigure the work of professionals and it's no small endeavor. On top of that, I used a framework (Horror Engine) that was really nice for streamlining things but only as long as you stay very well within the use case of it, which my project did not.

Going forward I'll work to rely less on the assets of others and optimize them immediately as I download them so I'm not backtracking. I am still a solo dev but I've been using AI to fill some of the gaps and it's working well. I'd love to have the funds to hire talent but... one step at a time.

Really cool despite the simple visuals. The audio is well done and does a lot to build the atmosphere. Great job!

Also, I do have a full playthrough on my youtube if you are interested.

Oof, sorry about that. Thanks for the feedback, I will check out yours.
