Thank you so much for telling us! It's been a while since we've posted an update, but I think v2.4.2 (which has just been uploaded) has that (and a few other things!) fixed. Just a heads-up, it is such a major jump in versions that there might be some unexpected weirdness with the save files. Worse comes to worst you can overwrite a save and quickly skip through some of what you've already seen by holding whatever has been assigned to [BACK]. I'm glad you're intrigued! The storybook has a tendency to intrigue us from time to time ourselves!
