Thanks a lot for your feedback ! :)

I'll definitely try to improve this aspect in the future.

Hi, thanks a lot for the feedback :)

I'm really sorry about your experience, it is indeed a bug. Could you tell me what browser you were using ? Personnally it works fine with Firefox and has small flaws with Chrome. Also, the desktops version do not have this bug.

It's a nice game. I agree with Konnie_6 considering having to click reset all the time, and I'd add that having to click adjust and start is also frustrating. Maybe the velocity could be set by the ditance between the canon and the mouse, or the duration of the click (like in worms).

Also, I think that 2 different musics are playing in the first screen (and they don't have the same bpm so it feels weird). Otherwise the music is good and fits with the mood of the game, good choice !

I had fun playing it and getting to 96% the second time :D The shop is a very nice touch. With more songs I'd have played enough to buy a lot of content :)

There is one thing though that I did not understand : I clicked when the squares were perfectly in the center and did not get "Perfect" but I got it by sometimes clicking when the squares just arrived in the area (and it felt out of rythm - too soon).

Can't wait for more content !

This is an interesting version of chess. The "how to play" menu needs improvement though : on my screen I couldn't read anything, whether in full screen or not. I had to play to understand it. I'd love to be able to play with other people not on my computer, but I know this would make it a way more complicated project.

I found your game very nice to play and I love the concept :) I had fun and wished there was more levels.

Hi, thanks a lot for the feedback ! :)
Another user had the same problem today using chrome. It that's your case, perhaps you could try with another browser or even the desktop versions if you want. I'll see what I can do to fix that.

I think it's a very good idea ! It gives the player more flexibility (do you want to move faster / shoot faster / see farther...) and would make the game easier in the beginning.

Nice game ! As said in another comment, that's a really interesting concept. I love the emphasis in exploration, and the idea of having to choose the modules.

However, it was frustrating to have to switch between the solar panel and the wheels because there isn't enough space in the inventory. Depending on your ideas for your game, you could solve this problem in a few different ways : add more inventory space ; reduce the space of the solar panel ; don't have the wheels as a module ; allow to easily switch between modules with a key so you can swap in the middle of a fight, for example.

Also a few things I noticed :

  • The sound effect for the charging battery is a bit too repetitive so you get annoyed if you leave the solar panel in the robot
  • There is also a clipping sound when this sound effect loops
  • If you accidentally click on your battery to move it, you're dead. Maybe a small internal buffer for the robot would be interesting to avoid that
  • If you eject the wheels at anytime you won't be able to move, so you essentially lost.

Otherwise, it's very good and I'd be very happy to play an updated version of the game, a bit easier and with more content ! :)

Hi everyone,

StickWave is the first game I've actually finished, thanks to this jam. It's a never-ending tower defense game where you have to spawn units in order to survive against waves of enemies. Each game lasts around 5-15 minutes depending on your skills.

I'd really like to have feedback on what's working and what isn't so please comment :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback sudhan ! I will keep that in mind :)

Hi, nice game ! I have played it a few times and there are a few things that I noted :

 - The music is waaaaay too repetitive ! Not bad but the loop is too short, so it becomes annoying after 1 or 2 minutes.

- I'd love a score system to know how much I performed

I think these two modifications would make it more enjoyable :)
