Thank you very much!

Thank you so much for your kind words!

lol okay! Now I understand how that bug occurs. Thank you!

Yes, sorry. Game is endless with no specific goal. Thanks for playing tho!

Ooops, there seems to be a misunderstanding. Art is very much made by me (you can see timelapse of me making it). I just made most of it before the jam so I went for the before option xd. I've changed that option now since I misunderstood.

I sadly did not come across the character flying into space with items (lol) so that is very interesting to hear.

Thanks for your comment tho! The game wasn't really made to be judged, more me just trying stuff out lol. I feel bad for people having high expectations, sorry.

Thanks!

Swinging mechanic is a bit hard to get used to. To me it seems inconsistent. Sometimes it will hook onto something and sometimes not.

I do LOVE the camera changes when you swing. The city looks amazing at night (maybe make the hook glow in the dark as well?). City looks beautiful when the sun is setting.
You have a lot of ambient sounds which is nice for setting the mood! Hearing the helicopter all the time can be a bit annoying, since I just want to hear the birds and wind sometimes.
Having sound variation for hooking would be nice since it is repetitive.

Otherwise great polishing!

Lovely aesthetic! Colours and art are very nice. Love the animation when you hit the ground or jump.
Some background elements (some buildings & the sky when you are higher up) are very dark & the colour is very close to the colour of the foreground buildings you can actually interact with. Might want to tweak that.

The character does freak out when you are standing on the edges of the spawning platform in the first level, and when you stand on the pink platform in the first level (playing the landing & jump effects & sounds). Not sure if I like that the character automatically jumps down a ledge when I am close to it. I would like the character to be able to climb small steps (like walking onto the spawning platform on the first level without having to jump).

I love the buildings & blocks lighting up when you land on them!

As for the mechanics. In general I'm not the biggest fan of having to hold down space for a longer jump but I know most people like that. But despite that, the jumping is way to snappy. The character was down so quickly! I like where you are headed with the snappy falling, but please let me have a bit more air time. It just doesn't feel very nice to me.

When you introduced the bow/thrust mechanic, I was a bit sceptical. You already have jumping for vertical movement. But I do believe I came across one part of a level where there was a block, and it was not possible to jump to it, so it makes sense to have the thrust to get across these harder places. But you also have the wall jump & air jump... It seems this game is very much movement based. Do you want the player to be able to use many different ways to overcome a level?

At first I was using one hand to move WASD and space. But then I realized the mouse wasn't doing anything, so using both my hands was way easier. But then you introduced the thrust mechanic. Now I do have to put my other hand back on the mouse. That made jumping harder for me. The thrusting was easy to get used to, but the overall movement was too hard for me. Maybe I need to play even more to get used to it.

You already have nice auto respawning the player to the platform they were last on!! Nice!

So, visuals are lovely, a bit of buggy behaviour. The jumping needs to be changed. But the environment you are building is already quite clear. Good job!

There's some very simple gameplay going on and I like the idea of playing as a sea monster.

When swimming around underwater it was not consistent what I could swim through/past. I personally had the most fun above water or close to the surface.
I enjoyed destroying and eating the ships & blimps, and hopping onto land. Though I wish I could have destroyed the village as well. I also performed a lot of air tricks, which was fun.
If you decide to focus on the destructive & chaotic nature of your game, check out the mobile game Hungry Shark World or Shark Evolution (I can't remember the name). The shark eats everything & causes a lot of desruction.

Eating the fish increased my score, but it did not seem that significant to me. Maybe it will make me bigger? Maybe it will increase my strength, being able to destroy even bigger things in the future?

The sea monster following the mouse cursor felt too delayed. I had to swing my cursor all around for the monster to move how I wanted it to. YOu could opt for a snappier/more direct way the monster follows the cursor. By making the head attach to where the mouse cursor is.
Also you can end up hovering/floating after flying into the air & falling down. Might want to add a bit more force when the mouse is at the bottom of the screen/below where the sea monster is.

Additionally, I hope you will come up with a smooth way the body will move. I recommend checking out how they made Madeline's hair from Celeste. Multiple circles attachted to a line and being simulated. Or at least something similar, so the movement of the sea monster's body is a bit smoother.

The sounds are very confusing to me. It sounds like someone rummaging in their kitchen ahah. But otherwise it's cute that when you click with your mouse the monster screams.

Overall a good start & a lot of potential! Some controls just needs some more tweaking for a smoother feel!

Very fun & simple game. Like the sound effects and the main mechanic of throwing and hitting the baseball ball, as well as the visual style. I love seeing 3D and 2D mixed together, so I hope you keep that!
Shame that the second enemies that float in the air don't do anything but stare at you. Otherwise nice how the enemies change faces when you hit them.
It can be a bit hard to aim sometimes, so a crosshair would be good.
Since the player uses a baseball bat, it would be fun if the introduction level would take place on a baseball field/ target practising with enemies far away.
Sensitivity adjustment option would be nice. For me it is a bit high.
Close range attacking with the bat would be nice without having to hit the ball. I accidentally fell into a pit of enemies and just wanted to hit the enemies without throwing the ball because they were so close.
Overall, very lovely & enjoyable game!

Aww thank you very much!!
