this was... painfully bad. it's only around 12 minutes long, but even that wasted time stings lol. poorly written, the characters arent endearing at all, and the story is dumb and unsatisfying. seriously, if you're reading this don't waste your time

really hoping the spelling and punctuation are improved in the full release; youre really selling yourself short with this demo and itd be a shame for such a fun concept to be dragged down by having it be difficult and unpleasant to read.

also maybe dont use slurs? even if you horribly misspell it, sp*z is still not okay to say in any form

cute art, some funny moments, and obviously great character designs. i was expecting an rpg but this definitely feels more like a walking sim (the battle system is so rudimentary that it may as well be replaced by a sign saying 'just fight everything you see', theres no actual roleplaying, the only choice is whether to see every characters dialogue or not). pretty good way to spend half an hour but it doesnt feel like a game i guess

the pronoun choice is soooooo funny like im laughing too much to even find it transphobic. "choose your pronouns" and then u get told ur male/female... iconic

as much as i wanted to love this game, i couldnt even remotely enjoy it. the controls are ABYSMAL, and some cannot be remapped (i tried mapping camera rotation to arrow keys, but wasnt able to, nor could i unmap movement from the arrow keys). aside from that, the game just feels sluggish to play, interacting with objects feels terrible, even progressing text feels bad.

visually gorgeous game, and i really wanted to get to some of the parts shown off in the preview gifs, but it is such an innately unfun game to play that i couldnt progress very far at all. i could not recommend this to ANYONE

just started and the treatment of homelessness is godawful... how do you manage to alienate players within seconds of booting up the game?? it'd be impressive if it wasn't awful and inhumane

(hate to ask this but i was having a similar issue and missed the obvious solution) have you tried deleting your save file from within the in-game menu on startup? 

i rly hope you get to play this (if u havent already solved ur problem)!! honestly its a huge mystery where the save file is, i spent a good half an hour looking through recent files 😔

(edit, your pc should have a 'hummingwarp' folder somewhere, the save files in there!)

'BL' bascially translates to 'i consume yaoi and fetishize gays', REALLY bad word choice unless you only want straight homophobic girls playing. like im not even a gay man and its scaring me off just from the connotations it brings

like im not gna judge the whole game from that (and i likely will give the demo a peek) but i know a Lot of people (mainly gay guys) will be instantly put off by 'BL' being advertised

i cant BELIEVE it took me this long to play this game. anything that references zero escape is automatically art. i havent finished it but im HOOKED, this game is hilarious so far!!

edit: i finished it. and. please do not reference zero escape ever again (im like 99% joking lmao). i feel like if anything else you make/have made(?) will somehow explain the entire series in a throwaway line or visual gag lmao. and yes this is about sharpeis tie in pom. im still amazed that you could spoil both… uh. time and jump in vlr. just by putting a tie on a dog. like the aoi thing? ok who cares, it could be a throwaway side character. but… junpei… lmfao

(i didnt get this from here but i still wanted to leave feedback lol) i have to say this game is amazing at making you care about the characters. so far i've only cleared gwen's "route" or whatever, and GOD i actually broke down in tears, plus a lot of small things like some characters talking about who they left behind got me tearing up. that shit hurted...

im not the biggest fan of the gameplay loop, as after a while it devolves into making like 4 dishes and passing time til you reach your destination. though its surprisingly engaging for the genre and i always felt like there was something to do at least

i was super excited for this game from the first time i saw it, when that 'coming later today' message popped up in the nindies presentation i FREAKED. my excitement was 100% deserved if the rest of the game is this good!!
