I’m sorry to hear that. Can you try some of these workarounds?
Solution 1) Reinstall through Incognito
This might sound silly, but for me, Incognito has always been the magic fix for me for any tech issue I have
a) Uninstall the Hsmpsishv app
b) Launch google chrome app and then open an incognito window
c) Install the apk from this game page ( https://sweetmilkgames.itch.io/hsmpsishv/ ) in the incognito window only
d) Proceed with normal installation steps
Solution 2) Check phone space + install settings
For my device, it states that the app uses 828 MB in my internal storage after installation. Some of these steps may be different depending on your device, for reference, I am using a Pixel 6 with Android Version 15. I recommend uninstalling the app before proceeding with the steps below.
-Checking space-
a) Open settings, scroll down a bit, and then there should be a section titled: “Storage”. Ensure that the device you are installing on has enough space.
-Allowing installation for unknown apps-
a) Next, ensure that your device allows installation from unknown sources. To do this, open settings and then scroll until you see the “Apps” section.
b) In “Apps”, select “Special App Access”, then select “Install unknown apps” and then make sure that for the Google Chrome app (or your web browser app of choice), this is toggled “On”/“Allowed”.
c) Try re-installing the app once more.

I do agree with you in that I actually regret not including any choices! As this was my first project, I wanted to keep it as small and simple as possible to ensure that I could finally make something and also finish it too.
In regards to the title; not to pat myself on the back, but I feel like the title of this game is going to be hard for me to top in the future 😅. As this game was going to be a bit more on the “unserious” side, I wanted to ensure the title conveyed this as well.
I’m also happy to hear it ran well on Android; I’m super paranoid about making sure all builds run correctly, so I test them over and over just to make sure everything runs well. But of course, I can only test on my own individual devices, so I can only cross my fingers and hope they run without issues on other devices as well.
Anyway, thanks again for your feedback, especially about interactivity. It’s something I’m keeping in the forefront of my mind for all of my games moving forward. After this game, I feel a lot more confident in my ability to create (and finish) games so I want to keep on adding more and more complexities as I keep developing games.
For Mac, I do not feel comfortable releasing a version for as I do not have a Mac device to test on.
However, I am considering releasing a web version down the line in the future, I just had a bit of an issue with it previously; I’ll keep looking into it on my end so that the game can be a bit more accessible to all hardware/OS and not just PC/Android.
Wow, this is the first time someone’s done a video playthrough of a game I made, thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the demo - I should have only around two more updates left until it’s finished :D
And yeah, it was a bit of a cliffhanger; I was running out of time for the game jam so I had to pick a spot to end the demo at 😅
