just finished the chapter and found the disks, and it was really good! Kicking the ball pushed me around pretty strangely and through the floor twice (i landed outside the map at the ending) and it seems you can do a kindof superjump by jumping on the ground then immediately boosting upwards which im not sure if its intended behaviour. The autoaim also seemed to flick around a lot when there where a bunch of enemies close to me which. I still struggled in the combats for a bit, I think I was not understanding how much I could turn when going fast and I was not automatically reaching for the right controls but after "getting good" and dodging the gameplay felt a lot better. I think my only real gripe with the game (ignoring bugs) is how the mechanics are taught as I only really got good at the very end of the game after many deaths, but this is a chapter 0 so maybe its not that problematic.

TL;DR awesome art, music, themes and style. Gameplay was fun just hard to pick up. Would love to see more! (and comboing the saw was sick)

Seems really promising but I ran into a few issues that didn't let me finish the chapter. The movement felt unintuitive at first but after a couple deaths in the tutorial I started to get the hang of it and enjoyed it and just kinda shot the enemies in the first encounter while haphazardly sliding around. I got stuck at the ball pit and just couldn't dodge the enemies without them getting a hit in, and I was at 20hp so i could not tank the damage and trying to out-manoeuvre the enemies with both debuffs felt kinda impossible, so I gave up here (after quite a few attempts) and loading back to earlier chapters seemed to bug out for me. Loved the style and really cool ideas, would love to be able to play more.

Awesome stuff! glad to admire those sweet animations. Not sure if I tried everything in the demo as I ran into the repeated night time mission bug (i assume) but what I saw was cool, here is my feedback:

*e as an interact with both people and doors took me a minute to figure out but made sense after that, maybe a small hint would be nice?

*I found not being able to rest at medium - high zz was a bit annoying as I would get stuck at high zz at night not being able to bring it back down quickly from max (speed gum)

*It got boring walking to the firepit the second time (before the bug happened), especially at my slowish speed - also wanted to walk and use my phone to make the trek more interesting

Otherwise it was really cool and im looking forward to more updates!

really cool game! The art and the soundtrack was awesome and really polished, also really impressive how quickly you made this.  I did have 2 smallish criticisms after beating it though:

I didn't like the parts where you were next to the edge of the room because of how your mouse would get stuck. This mostly was just a minor inconvenience but on the room after the robot it made the room a lot harder, and I get that its a rage game but It felt like it messed with the main mechanic, rather than challenging your use of the main mechanic which bugged me.

My second complaint is a lot smaller but sometimes I would land on the edge of a tile and then keep sliding (on a flat tile) and I didn't really understand why that would happen, but maybe I'm just dumb.

Really cool game though, and took me a bit longer then an hour to complete
