Took me a while as well. Go back to room where you found peanut butter. There's a light switch on the wall. Keep playing around with that switch and the ones in the room with the safe until it glows orange like the safe room. If you found the code for safe you'll know what i mean.
In the room where you get the peanut butter there is a light switch. Play around with that and the switches in the first room until you get the room to glow orange, like with the first room where the code to the safe is and something will appear on the wall. Don't want to spoil too much.
