It looks like it's about a year between updates. is that correct?

Feels strange that you need 4 influence to do any meeting agenda. After the first round of quests, you think you would be able to get one basic agenda change.

I am a very story-focused VN enjoyer, so when I saw one about a cafe I was skeptical. It sat in my "Later" collection for some time. Having played through 0.7 I can say with certainty this has become one of my absolute favorite VNs.

The only feedback I can give is just a slight disappointment in not seeing certain... events with the girls. 

The most important of the two is cunnilingus. Seeing how much the MC truly loves and cherishes his girls, I was disappointed that he never went down on them, returning the service that they have provided him.

The other is not nearly as important and may be included in future updates... That would be "cum swapping". Specifically at the end of 0.7 when the girls are right next to each other. It felt like the right moment for the MC to exert some dominance with each of their personalities and budding interests. Seems like a missed opportunity sadly.

Try Halfway House. I really enjoyed it and it's still my reigning champ.
