Holding A seem to actually just focus on your current target :/

Hi,

I've been really enjoying this game so far, but I was wondering if someone could explain the freelook controls to me on gamepad?

It seems like sometimes I can look backwards by holding the right stick partially to the left or right, but if I got full lock left or right it snaps the camera to either look directly down or up. It also seems to behave a bit differently based on the current pitch and roll of my aircraft. I'm not sure if this is a bug or just something I don't understand correctly?
