I see on the homepage that "RPG Map II is completely free to use.", but could you provide something more substantial than that? For example, can it be redistributed? You don't provide source code, but are we allowed to reverse engineer it? For reference, the v1 of RPG Map has an Apache 2.0 license.

I would like to make this available in a lab/classroom environment for digital creative work. Unfortunately, the "userSettings" folder that it wants to create in the application's folder is a security/privacy problem. I can't allow students to write to the location of the binaries, nor allow them to affect other users through the settings.
All I would ask is that the creation of/references to the "userSettings" folder be adjusted to somewhere in the current user's profile. Fixing that would make your work enjoyable by countless others in controlled environments.
