Don't worry, she's a tough girl. I'm sure she'll bounce/squish/splat right on back and be as motivated as ever. She is our eternal rival, after all

Even if we don't "restore" her old personality (which might well be traumatic and destructive anyway, she's been gone for centuries now, everything is different, and she's become something utterly unlike her previous self), it would be nice to achieve some closure between her and Kotone, so that Kotone gets over her guilt and Feng can get closer to her
tbh the game has a really unpleasant and unintuitive flow to it; you get locked into routes for no apparent reason (if you take the job to steal the dildo, you can barely do anything in town and as soon as you enter the tavern you're completely stuck and can only try the mission, which as far as I can tell is impossible to succeed in), things in one route don't show up in another even though there's no reason why they wouldn't (you can only find the fence in the first route, who sells the unidentified belt, but you can only enter the tower to get things identified in the Duke's route, and meanwhile the enchantress doesn't show up at all in the first route??). I don't understand at all what you're going for here, the game has RPG elements like a litRPG game-book, but the arbitrary transitions and forced consequences of a CYOA, and ultimately it ends up feeling like a combination of the worst elements of both.
Okay, that came off as harsher than I intended; I don't think the game has nothing good about it, some of the ideas are interesting and when it's playing like a text-only Shadowgate it can be quite fun, I just think you would be more successful if you decided exactly how you want to engage the player and focus on making one way of doing that work and be fun rather than trying to combine a bunch of different styles of play in ways that don't make sense.
I've tried an old dinput controller and my Dual Sense, both of them with and without my Brooke Adapter, which should cause both to register as a generic Xbox controller, and the only one that has given any response at all is the Dual Sense without the adapter, which the game will only recognize the stick axes of, and which it will only recognize one end of each axis of. Is this problem new to 8.1 or have controllers never worked? I've had my eye on this game for a while and decided to try backing on a whim but most games will recognize at least some kind of controller if they have the option at all. Do I really need to download joy2key again?
This is it, folks, if there is a best Koikatsu-model visual novel it is this one: from the incredible care taken to add character and style to the models, and to posing them with a genuine directorial touch, to the actually fucking hilarious as well as emotionally genuine writing that makes you instantly know and fall in love with every character, everything just falls in place perfectly to create an experience that outdoes most high-budget commercial visual novels. I would watch a full animation version of this story. Hell, I'd voice act in a full animation version of this story. If you're wondering whether to try this out, stop doing that right now and just try it out, and when you're done with that go subscribe to the Patreon and chip in to keep development going. Visual novels this good actually do not come around very often.
Speaking as someone who isn't Chinese but has read a bunch of Chinese xianxia stuff so might get your confusion better, "little brother" is common Chinese slang for dick, so it just means "big dick" but with some fun wordplay added in. As for what power it wields, idk about the specifics but dual cultivation means using sex to exchange and magnify vital energies to become stronger, and is based on (at least theoretical) ancient daoist practices
