Fun to play!
Its obv still early in dev so i wont harp on things, but it would be nice to have sounds and feedback for stuff like opening doors, hitting enemies, moving jumping, etc.
The levels feel kind of off, theyre well designed and all but feel a bit too spacious / empty (rich coming from me i know). I think some more clutter and static objects here and there would help.
Also some sort of melee attack would be cool
(Theres also a folder in your demo called "Shanghai Gold_BackUpThisFolder_ButDontShipItWithYourGame", might wanna remove that lol.)
flying feels good, i like the technical stuff and all the assisting stuff, but the beep sound drives me insane. fun to play
the guns on the jet do (or feel like) no damage at all, got pretty close to another jet and a full barrage did nothing
i couldnt figure out how to shoot rockets (its over) Edit: nevermind controls are listed in game page oops
pretty cool, alot of progress
i really like how the mech feels but i think there should be a idle animation for it, now it just plays one that stops and plays when you move, so it looks like the game just froze when you stop moving. other than that the mech really feels like a mech and not just a guy moving arround.
assets are placeholder ofcourse so i wont speak on those, but the core gameplay feels fun, even if some juice (screenshake, vibration or something, etc) is missing.
Also the dash sometimes teleported me arround, i think it was only after going fortress mode and out.
Keep it up cowboy
Played for quite a while, really liked it. Has alot of strong elements and the shooting and killing feels satisfying. Some further polishing and more content and you got yourself A GAME. One thing i noticed tho was that some attacks (like for example the mortar in meteor area) werent noticable enough when youre already fighting other enemies. Maybe thats just me tho.
Very Cool, i hope you make it big!
