Thank you!!! ♥

I use choicescript to write the game (and their IDE)

I’m going to add little flirting options for HWN on the next update, but the official romance path will start on chapter 5, which will be the following update :)

The current version allows you to see all the books from Pseudonium in the menu under “The Archive”, the next update will incorporate them into the library, and I’ll also add a list of the keywords for them :)

And thank you so much!!! Ugh wish I could write it fasterrrrr

Thank you 💙

Omg thank you so much!!! 🙇

You absolutely can! The next update will separate the friendship and romance routes more clearly but even now you can have a non-romantic playthrough without missing any important (non romantic) content.

Thanks for reading and for your kind words!

Thank you so much!!! ❤️ It’s definitely a labor of love and I’m just happy every time it resonates with someone. :)

Might be easier to try the demo at CoGDemos though, it has it’s own save system. You can find the link on Tumblr (not sure If itch.io allows posting external links yet so check the link there)

Thank you! First of all, I recommend checking the Choice of Games forums. They have many free demos, some of which are quite lengthy as well. I couldn't replicate the save-resetting bug on my end but found a guide here to export saves from the browser:

Open the developer console in the browser (Shift+Ctrl+I) and then to Local Storage on the Application tab. You'll likely see a mess of files left by choicescript games and others. The save files from choicescript plugin come in pairs: a file named game_name_savemod_name_X (the name of save in the save drop-down menu in the game) and game_name_savemod_data_X (actual game state data) Note, game_name_ is a string defined by particular game, e.g. "auraclash_" or "college_tennis_")

Since both of these files contain text data, you can copy/paste/save their content to files on your hard drive, and then restore them in similar manner, if needed.

Thank you! I hope you enjoy the experience and I’d love to hear your thoughts afterwards.

Happy to hear! Have fun in the Abyss :)

Thank you so much! I wanted to do it for a while now, the death of Dash was the push I needed hehe. Working on the update double time!

Hi there! I had similar problems while testing the game. I realized that I was clicking too quickly, which caused the issues lol.

Try saving your progress and then wait a few seconds before moving on. This should help the game register your actions properly. I tested this on both a PC and an iPhone, and it worked.

Thank you! Very fitting for this project to start a new afterlife, I think :)

This tale starts with your death.

You remember only the moth, carrying you through the cosmos.

And so, the Abyss beckons you.

Now, you are a spirit, immortal. After a meeting with Death, you inherit a peculiar gift: a bar.

This mysterious establishment serves as a nexus between realms, a haven where spirits, gods, devils, and angels converge to drink and revel.

Yet, beneath the surface, an unease stirs. A voice calls out in your dreams—a loneliness that echoes through the Abyss. Why does it seek you?

A motley crew of spirits and immortals, each hailing from distant corners of the realms, stands with you: form bonds and romances with them that transcend death itself—perhaps even with Death themself.

Manage your bar, where serving a drink to a god or an eldritch entity is just another day’s work. Unravel a cosmic mystery, go on a date in infernal Hell, witness the universe’s creation, or unlock the arcane secrets of magic.

Your new afterlife awaits.
